After doubling ARR YoY, the AI-powered business planning and performance management
platform is unveiling a new suite of AI agents to help customers make better, faster decisions.
Pigment’s Analyst Agent is available in private preview now.
PARIS, March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Pigment, an AI-powered business planning and performance management platform, today launched its first AI agent, the Analyst Agent, as well as its roadmap to incorporate more AI agents into its platform. The announcement furthers the company’s commitment to redefining business planning with a first-of-its-kind suite of autonomous AI agents that will work proactively and collaboratively to drive better business outcomes.
Integrated seamlessly into Pigment’s platform, AI agents will enhance existing capabilities, including Pigment AI Search. This intelligent search function empowers users to swiftly find essential data – whether structured or unstructured – along with dashboards, documents, and processes, enabling more efficient workflows and informed decision-making. It also not only simplifies access to the Pigment platform but also fosters greater data literacy across the organization. Unsurprisingly, AI capabilities have seen over 7x growth in adoption since launching in general availability (GA) in September 2024.
As organizations see the value in a performance platform built for the age of AI, Pigment has seen impressive growth over the past year, to include:
- Over 2x Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
- Strong growth in North America, close to 60% of revenue coming from the region
- 50% increase in customer base
- 2.5x number of enterprise customers like Unilever, Snowflake, Block, and more than 3x in Fortune 500 customers
- Expanded partnerships with Deloitte, PwC, and Google
- More than 150 features launched
“A successful RevOps team needs the agility to move quickly and iterate. There’s the plan you make and then you inevitably find you need to adjust, said James Jackson, Global Head of GTM Planning, Compensation and Systems, Snowflake. “Pigment has been instrumental in helping us do this, facilitating the changes we need to make in a matter of hours and helping us be more agile.”
AI agents: The future of business planning
With the launch of the Analyst Agent, Pigment is taking the first step towards a network of customizable, proactive agents that will be able to autonomously handle the time-consuming and complex tasks that bog down teams today. By proactively turning business insights into action these agents will transform how business teams operate and make decision-making faster and more precise. As Pigment expands its network of agents, companies will be able to do things they couldn’t fathom today, such as reverse-engineer the outcome they want to achieve and run an infinite set of scenarios to identify the right combination of variables to achieve them.
Pigment’s agentic roadmap consists of:
- The Analyst Agent (launched in private preview today), which analyzes information from internal and external sources to identify trends, detect anomalies and build a comprehensive picture of the drivers behind data and performance patterns. It will present insights in multiple formats – dashboards, reports and audio – and offer recommendations to help teams take action. The Analyst Agent is available in private preview today.
- The Planner Agent, which will collaborate with the analyst agent to translate these insights into actionable steps. With domain expertise in areas such as finance, supply chain and operations, it will proactively suggest recommendations based on factors including company goals and market conditions. For example, if sales in North America are lagging while EMEA is exceeding expectations, the Planner agent will simulate different regional strategies to bring global performance back on track.
- The Modeler Agent, which will autonomously build and update the models that underpin Pigment and serve as the foundation on which the Analyst and Planner agents operate. They will autonomously maintain these models based on business changes and perform data quality checks, ensuring real-time accuracy and relevance.
For example:
- Finance teams save hours through budget variance analysis automation
- An FP&A team that collectively spent 30 hours at the start of every month preparing budget variance analyses can now rely on the Analyst and Planner agents to manage spend. Agents can continuously monitor financial performance, proactively flagging to finance teams risks and opportunities as soon as leading indicators shift. When deviations arise between actual and budgeted figures, they can autonomously dig into the reasons behind these variations and suggest actionable strategies to move forward.

- Sales Operations teams build more accurate sales forecasts and set balanced territories and quotas
- A Sales Operations leader building their annual territory and quota plans have a robust first version prepared for them overnight. Agents can autonomously set sales targets based on desired topline growth, historical win rates, and planned hires, and build optimized territory plans based on existing pipeline and propensity to buy.

- Demand planners get assisted intelligence to sharpen their inputs and reduce time to output
- Demand planners usually prepare their weekly forecast update to get uploaded into their system by Sunday night. They are now able to rely on the Planner Agent who runs, compares, and proposes forecast recommendations based on a wide range of past and present datasets to predict future trends. Once the upload is successful, the Analyst Agent takes into account a change in demand and reviews critical metrics such as inventory policies. This is then fed back to production with new requests to satisfy the freshly updated market demand. What used to be a tedious and repetitive task is now enhanced by choosing the best fit based on available context and drastically cutting down on time invested to realization.
“AI is evolving and so is our ability to equip teams with innovative tools that empower extraordinary outcomes,” said Eléonore Crespo, co-CEO and co-founder of Pigment. “As we enter this agentic era, we are transforming the dynamics of business operations by seamlessly integrating AI agents into traditional workforces. What was once a stretched team of professionals is now significantly enhanced by the support of numerous AI agents, enabling them to achieve more than ever before. Today’s announcement broadens the horizons of what teams can accomplish, empowering them to make rapid, informed decisions and attain exceptional efficiency, all while driving their businesses forward at an unparalleled pace.”
With generative AI native to its platform, Pigment is the only company with the right technology and know-how to realize this vision for the future workforce. Its foundations allow the platform to have the right data, modelling capabilities and UX to display results, driving adoption and delivering the desired benefits.
