NEW YORK, April 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — WindRose Health Investors, LLC (“WindRose”), the New York-based healthcare private equity firm, announced that it has established WindRose Gradient (“Gradient”), an in-house technology services team dedicated to helping portfolio companies identify, prioritize, and implement actionable technology and AI projects.
WindRose Operating Partner Adam Berger will lead the Gradient team, which consists of subject-matter experts and practitioners in AI, operations research, data science, cloud computing, information security, data engineering, technical program management, and related disciplines.

Prior to joining WindRose, Mr. Berger led technology for Amazon Care, Amazon’s healthcare delivery service serving patients in all 50 states. He is a frequent presenter at international conferences on machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval, and has been recognized for his work by the Special Interest Group on Information Retrieval (SIGIR) and the Association of Computational Linguistics (ACL). Mr. Berger received his PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
